Étienne Dussault completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Université Laval, where he was named to the Faculty of Law Honour Roll, and is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Université de Montréal. As part of his academic journey, he had the privilege of clerking for the Honourable Geneviève Cotnam, J.A., at the Quebec Court of Appeal, where he honed his research skills and sharpened his legal reasoning.
Étienne began his legal career working for a real estate developer in the Quebec City area, before joining the team at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, where he will later complete his articling for admission to the Quebec Bar. His main interests lie in the ethical and legal issues surrounding emerging technologies, and in the law’s capability to adapt to them in ways that benefit society while mitigating their harmful effects.
