Justiça+ Report : Portugal's Justice Digital Transformation
The Cyberjustice Laboratory invites you to take note of the Justice Digital Transformation report, which details Portugal's efforts to modernize its justice system as part of the Justiça+ strategy.
Justiça+ redefines the way courts, legal professionals and citizens interact with judicial processes. Although the country embarked on this project almost a decade ago, the report presents the key achievements of the last two years.
These include the development of an “eTribunal”, a collaborative, user-centric technology ecosystem for the courts, and the modernization of judicial interfaces. The report also explores the implementation of AI-enabled anonymization of judicial decisions and the expansion of digital platforms for alternative dispute resolution, so as to enhance the efficiency, transparency and accessibility of Justice.
